Selection

In 2010, a faculty taskforce was charged with finding a replacement for WebTycho; they completed a feature evaluation of possible platforms and recommended the open-source platform Sakai as the best fit for teaching and learning at UB. Sakai is a robust tool created by and for the global education community to be powerful, flexible, and open. It is used by millions of users at hundreds of colleges and universities.
